How does it attach to my camera?

There are a few easy ways to attach our hand strap to your camera: use your tripod's quick-release plate (we're compatible with all brands), or use a Spider Plate (the thin profile at the end of the hand strap fits right between your plate and your camera body), or simply use the hardware included with our hand strap.

Will there be colors?

Oh yes. We’re including the option for a nice color trim. Available trim colors will be: Red, Copper, Deep Blue, Light Blue, Lilac, and standard Black.

What's it made of?

The outside is crafted from a proprietary nylon-based material that is extremely strong and flexible, allowing it to “remember” the shape of your hand. The inside is lined with a soft quality foam, covered with a velvet skin, making the hand strap super-comfortable and breathable. We wish you could touch it now, you wouldn't want to take your hand out.

Will this strap work with the smaller Olympus OMD cameras?

It will work with your OMD by using the smart adapters that come with the strap.

What about the Fuji XT-1 and other mirrorless cameras where the shutter trigger is on top of the camera body?

Will the hand strap work with a Nikon D7100 DSLR?

I own a Canon 5D and use it with 24-105 f/4 regularly. I also own a Nikon 7200 and use it regularly with Nikon's 18-300 lens. Is this new SpiderLight hand strap intended for cameras of this size, or are they too big/heavy?

The SpiderLight Hand Strap was designed primarily for smaller mirrorless cameras. Larger cameras with heavier lenses should use our http://spiderholster.com/handstrap.

Does this new hand strap work with the battery grip on a Sony A7RII?

Yes, absolutely!

Will the rain cover be sold separately? If so, about what price? What about the other new items?

When our campaign ends, we'll be selling all individual products through our website, http://spiderholster.com. The rain cover will retail there for $25.

As the NEX-7 is now an older camera, will you have adapters for it?

Our smart adapters will work with the NEX 7.

Can the spider web be used by itself or does it have to be used in conjunction with the holster?

It can be used by itself, although it is not designed to be a carrying strap. It is a safety strap meant for added security and peace of mind.

Will this strap work with a Nikon D3300, or would the Spider Pro be more suited to that?

The Nikon D3300 is a good fit for the SpiderLight Hand Strap.
