OVERVIEW

THE ULTIMATE CRUSADERS is a 36-page sci-fi, action-adventure comic book series based on the mid 90's and early 2000's television shows and comic books. The story revolves around a young, socially awkward boy genius named Orion Williams and his best friend, Claire Rosemary, who work together to build a massive mechanical suit in the hopes of discovering the whereabouts of Orion's father, who has been lost in space for nearly three years.

In the midst of their constant failures; however, the duo witnesses a space shuttle crash into Earth's surface, revealing a mysterious, but powerful artifact inside. Soon after this discovery, they are relentlessly tracked down by a savage alien race known as, The Blackened, who have laid waste to multiple planets across the galaxy.

Now, with the artifact in tow, the duo is forced to join a ragtag group of alien freedom fighters known as THE ULTIMATE CRUSADERS in an effort to prevent The Blackened from destroying every other race except their own, while uncovering the mystery of Orion's father's disappearance.

THE FUNDING AND GOALS

The first issue will be a 36-page book, which will also be available in stores after the campaign has ended, published by SCOUT COMICS.

The $5,000 goal will cover the funding of the book as well as the printing cost.

If we receive an amount higher than the main goal, we will be offering some stretch goals as well!

RISKS & IMPACT

Obviously, there are several risks involved, given this is my very first comic book ever to be published, but I have written for several years of my life and I firmly believe that this is a story worth telling.

 The books' primary focus is to emphasize and connect with readers who are uniquely different than those who they try to mimic, while also diving into the mysteries of the universe and the strange, otherworldly beings that dwell within it.  This will be the most ambitious project that I have ever made, so I am 100% committed to delivering on any and every promise spoken in this campaign.
