We are confident that THE VOID will be a compelling marriage of atmospheric dread with visceral (and practical) creature effects, but we're not the only ones who are excited. Scroll below to see endorsements of this project from some of our famous friends:
Here's what Jen and Sylvia Soska, the writing/directing duo behind AMERICAN MARY had to say:

"This is the natural next step in the skyrocketing career of Steve Kostanski and Jeremy Gillespie. A full blown frightfest with its sights firmly aimed at unspeakable Lovecraftian horror. For those who are looking for the next big thing, look no further than The Void." - Vincenzo Natali (Director of CUBE and SPLICE)

"Look, I don't know about you, but a world without MANBORG is a world I don't want to live in. So I ask you, what are you depriving the world of if you don't help make THE VOID exist? If you don't help make THE VOID exist, then fuck you. Seriously, fuck you." - Aaron Moorehead & Justin Benson (Directors of
RESOLUTION and
SPRING)

"The Void is one of the most interesting & exciting projects I have ever been pitched. I'm ready to buy my movie ticket/Blu-Ray/VHS and action figures as soon as I can get my filthy hands on em! Also sign me up for the haunted house attraction too!" -
JASON EISENER (Director of HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN)
"Kostanski and Gillespie are mad geniuses, literal world builders with unlimited imaginations. Already loved as demented pranksters The Void will see them recognized as the visionaries they truly are." - TODD BROWN (Founder and Editor of TWITCH FILM and Executive Producer of THE RAID)

Is this an
ASTRON-6 film?
No – THE
VOID is not an Astron-6 project, but rather a new distinct venture by
two members of the collective. However, fans of Astron-6 can expect
to see a similar level of enthusiasm and ingenuity in this project,
just several shades scarier.
When will
THE VOID be made?
We're on track to shoot this summer, and if you become a contributor, you'll receive more detailed updates via our FUNDER's mailing-list.
When will
THE VOID be released?
That will be
up to our distributors, but we plan on playing the festival circuit
in 2016. You can ensure being among the the first to see THE
VOID by nabbing either the North American or International Festival
Premiere perk.
If the
project doesn't reach it's funding goal, will THE VOID still get
made?
Failing to reach our goal won't prevent
us from making the film, it will merely limit the scope of the
creature effects we are envisioning (and how much sleep Steve gets). Regardless of reaching the goal,
we are committed to putting whatever funds we do raise on the screen in the form of practical special effects.
If the
project doesn't reach it's funding goal, do I get my money back?
No dice. We're doing a Flexible Campaign, so
even if we fall short of our goal, we will nonetheless put whatever
we raise towards our creature effects budget and you will get your perks.
When will
the perks be delivered?
Each perk has it's rough delivery month listed and we'll do our utmost to get them to you right away.
Why do you need my shipping address if my perk isn't a shippable item?
From time to time we intend to mail out exclusive updates to our supporters.
Do the T-Shirts come in multiple sizes?
Yes. If you snag a T-shirt perk, we'll be sure to contact you to ascertain your t-shirt size.
What happens if you exceed your goal?
The goal we've set is actually the bare minimum we need to pull off what Steve and Jeremy have dreamt up. If we exceed our goal, it will afford us the opportunity to increase the scope and ambition of our creature effects, and potentially even permit us to add even more grotesque horrors to the world of THE VOID.
You've passed a campaign milestone and I haven't received a script page yet? What gives?
E-mail us immediately at thevoidcampaign@gmail.com and we will rectify the situation.
I put the
wrong e-mail address on Indiegogo and I'm afraid I won't receive my
perk. How do I fix that?
Have no fear!
Please send an email to thevoidcampaign@gmail.com
and we will update your new e-mail address manually to our database.
How do I
update my shipping address?
Send your new
address to thevoidcampaign@gmail.com
and we will update our files accordingly.
I contributed and forgot to include the shipping cost! What can I do?
No problem! Click on the 'contribute now' button and add the additional amount and select 'no perk'. Thanks for catching that!
How will
the funders be kept informed during and after the campaign?
We will be
frequently updating our Indiegogo page, as well as our Facebook and
Twitter accounts, and official website. If you've contributed to our
campaign, also expect to receive e-mail updates that feature
funder-exclusive web content.
Why am I alive?
We currently have our best cop out on this existential case. I'm sure an answer is imminent.
Is there a Heaven?
No, but there is a hell. This is worse.
