Tides is a science fiction audio drama about life in extreme circumstances. It follows biologist Dr. Winifred Eurus, a member of the first manned expedition to Fons, an Earth-like moon wracked by extreme tidal waves due to its orbit around a nearby gas giant. When surveying ocean life her submarine is destroyed, leaving her alone to walk to higher ground before the wave comes back. Along the way, she makes notes about what she finds in the intertidal zone, and gradually realizes that some of the life there is more than what it seems.

Tides is created by producer Ayla Taylor and writer Jesse Schuschu and is sound designed by Bridge Geene.
Dr. Winifred Eurus is brought to life in all of her curioius and slightly misanthropic glory by the immensely talented Julia Schifini.
We also have a wonderful supporting cast, including:
- James Oliva as Dr. Robert Montague, the mission's geologist and general pain in the neck
- Jordan Higgs as Dr. Victor Stevens, Dr. Eurus's long-suffering assistant
- Emily Wang as Dr. Melissa Wang, the insightful astrophysicist who is one of the few people Dr. Eurus openly considers a friend.
- Zach Libresco as Captain Ed Ricketts, the paternal captain who just wants the minimal amount of people to die.
- Several crew members that we will be hearing from in season 2!
The first season was completed in August and we are hard at work on season 2. We need your help to make this season even better than the first!
What we need
We want to make the best show we can, but we also need to eat and pay bills. The first season was paid mostly out of pocket, but we want to be able to properly compensate out whole cast and crew for their time and energy.
We estimate that this will cost $3800. We are going to set the initial goal at $3000.

The budget is broken down as follows:
- $2400 ($600 each) for the main cast and crew (writer, producer, sound designer, lead actress) at $50 per episode.
- $1000 for the supporting cast at $25 per episode.
- $200 for hosting and fees for a whole year
- $200 for perks and fees for this campaign.
Any funds raised beyond the estimated budget will be used to increase the payments to the cast and crew.
Stretch Goal
If we reach $4000, we will produce a full length extra episode set during the journey to Fons. It will involve scheming, romance, betrayal and dubious cake.
