Is Justice or Revenge In The Cards?

Jennifer Polar is in danger!  Her father, Larry, was murdered by mobsters and now they are after her!

In the after-life, Larry begs a powerful spirit to protect his daughter. The spirit gives Jennifer the power to make the Kings, Queens and Jacks in a deck of cards come alive!  

They will protect her, but for a price: Jennifer must use this power to eliminate the mobsters who killed her dad!  The Kings, Queens and Jacks are ready for action, but what about Jennifer?

Issue 1 of a Three Issue Series!

TILT has:

1. A plot that makes sense and takes NO prisoners!

2. Characters who DON'T emotionally validate each other!

3. And lots of NON-APPROVED body type!

SJWs won't like it, but you'll LOVE IT!

Created and written by David "Doc Hog" Hogberg, illustrated by Marcos Lima, colored by Leanore King, and lettered by D. Jason Meadows, TILT is a 32 page comic book! Sixteen pages are already completed--inked, colored, lettered. Doc Hog will have TILT ready to send to the printer the minute this campaign ends, so he can get it in the hands of the customer as quickly as possible!  UPDATE: 22 Pages are now complete! We are on schedule!

Backers of TILT can purchase physical copies of the comic with standard and variant covers, a PDF copy, a pin-up and a special TILT deck of cards!

Backers at the highest levels will receive all of the above perks and, best of all, have themselves drawn into Issue 2 of TILT! They will interact with other characters, kill some people and have their choice of GRUESOME DEATH:  Stabbed in the back, slashed in the throat, dagger thrown into the eye, or head chopped off from the nose up!

1. Opening Page.  The character in the middle is the head mobster, Johnny Ricca. On the left is one of the mob hit-men, Jack Tessio, and on the right is his brother, Marco Tessio.

2. The Spirit Realm. I so love this page! I envisioned it as "Heaven,", a glowing white with some gold trim. Leanore took a look at the script and thought this was a very somber, foreboding scene--which it is! Jennifer's Dad, Larry, is about to agree to give Jennifer a power that she has to use to kill mobsters. Leanore decided to color it a blue/indigo and make part of the spirit's outfit blood red.  It wasn't what I expected--it turned out much better!

3. The Queens Arrive. In this scene, Jennifer and the Queen of Hearts have just found out the names of all of the mobsters involved in her Dad's murder. They will need to find out when the mobsters are most vulnerable for attack, so she asks Jennifer to bring forth the other three Queens for some reconnaissance. My artist, Marcos Lima, and I decided to give the Queen of Hearts traditional royal garb, but decided to give the other Queens outfits based on superhero costumes. There is something to be said for going against tradition!
