Time Helmet is a sci-fi comedy feature film, and we need your help to finish it!
Time Helmet stars Peter New (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic), and is written and directed by Emmy-nominated editor Mike Jackson. We finished shooting the first half of the film just as COVID hit. We're now planning on safely resuming production, and we need an additional $13k to finish our hilarious movie.

THE STORY
Peter New (Littlest Pet Shop, Diary of a Wimpy Kid) plays down-on-his-luck inventor Donald Voltmann. He's invented a time travel helmet to turn his life around, but his future self has different plans. He drags his neighbor Ferris Tong (Lou Ticzon) and lawyer Melissa Weebly (Paula Burrows) into a patent-trolling scheme, all while battling with his ex-wife (Rhona Rees) and Officer Prudence Slaughter (Camryn Macdonald) of the Time Police.
Will Don succeed in stealing his ex-wife's invention and future fortune? Will he go to prison for time crimes and possibly murder? Or will his present-day self defeat his future self, and win back his daughter's love? You'll only find out if we finish our movie!

THE TEAM
Time Helmet is written and directed by Emmy-nominated editor / award-winning director Mike Jackson. Mike knows his way around sci-fi: He moved to film after many years as a sci-fi illustrator for classic paper-and-pencil RPGs like Battletech and Shadowrun. His script for Time Helmet was a quarter finalist for the prestigious Academy Nicholl Fellowship.
He and Peter New have spent decades doing sketch comedy and short films together. They last collaborated on the multi-award-winning fantasy short Woodman, which you can check out below.
Time Helmet is produced by Rory Tucker, Peter New and Shawn Major, and Executive Produced by Robin Chan, David Bradley and Zach Lipovsky. Cinematography is by Cameron Belseth, Production Design by Shawn Major, and costumes by Naomi Lazarus. Trailer and pitch video music is by David Spidel, Toren Atkinson, and the Darkest of the Hillside Thickets.
We have an incredibly talented team of collaborators, who rose above-and-beyond shooting the first half of Time Helmet. We're ready for round 2, with your support!
