Tiny Little Bastards is a game about the love of a man for his beer. You’ll play as Ivarr, a viking tavern owner who had his tavern mysteriously sacked by a horde of annoying little creatures, the Goblins. Ivarr now has to take up arms to recover his stolen goods and save a desperate world from the severe beer drought the Goblins are causing.
Through exploration, resolution of quests and dialogue options, player’s choices will have meaningful impact on the world - from little brother and sister fights to nation-wide conflicts such as civil wars and more!
Our priority is to deliver you a game made with fun mechanics coupled by tight execution, focused on detailed gameplay that will keep players coming back to it. We aim for Tiny Little Bastards to be what we want to play ourselves.

Tiny Little Bastards is a 2D platformer Action RPG for PC (windows, Mac & Linux). Its character progression is similar to action RPGs such as Diablo and Torchlight while the level design is deeply inspired by all-time classics like Castlevania.
This means the player will be able to control character stats, talents and talent-based abilities while progressing in a vast and beautiful platform world with many bizarre, sometimes otherworldly regions, ranging from huge pumpkin dungeons to lands where sheep float in the sky!
The player will also be able to collect many different items such as weapons, trinkets, crafting materials, potions… and manage his own inventory. Items will be in ARPG-inspired style, appearing through the game by means of looting, crafting and exploration, as well as sold by charismatic vendors, and posessing a variety of randomized stats to allow for different playstyles.

To create strange potions and high value weapons, players can make use of the detailed crafting systems available. Each crafting system is attached to a different NPC (a smith can create weapons, a witch can make potions and an enchanter can craft trinkets).
You’ll find a diverse cast of crafters with compelling backstories and quests along the way and, if they like you, they’ll follow you around the world making your journey more interesting!

Through the journey, the player will have to overcome obstacles and puzzles based on the levels themselves. An infinity of dreadful traps and deadly pits are there to test your abilities, but you can beat them with the right moves and choices… if you’re skilled enough.
The combat is simple and yet very detailed. A wide variety of enemies will try to block the way as the game goes on.
The actual combat involves both player skill and stats:
Stamina will be drained when most actions are taken (especially using abilities)
Avoiding getting hit is crucial and equally items and talents will all play big part in deciding whether you’ll survive or not!
Every enemy will act acordingly to its own characteristics, so you’ll have to adapt your strategies on the fly.
A combination of good timing, knowledge of enemy patterns, resource management and smart character building are what makes the combat in Tiny Little Bastards a fun experience!

Will the game be released on Steam as well?
We plan to! We’ve started a Steam Greenlight campaign as well, but DRM-free copies will also be available. Every backer who gets a copy of the game will receive keys to any Early-Access we might have in the future.
What about other playable characters? Other races, genders?
This is above all, the story of Ivarr himself, changing the character would require even the plot to change substantially, you’ll find out why! We plan to, however, allow other playable characters in set parts of the game.
Will the game be entirely single player? Is there co-op?
So far the game is a strict single player experience. Co-op isn’t planned so far, however, we do have concepts for a whole multiplayer game-mode in the future!
How will ‘Help the team design a ...’ work?
Backers of this tier will be contacted by and will discuss with the Team their ideas. We’ll make everything possible to polish and implement the best ideas each backer has to offer! All the process of discussion, polishment and implementation will take place with the active participation of backers included in the appropriated reward tier.
How often will updates come by?
We’ll do weekly updates showcasing all content we create during that time. Stay tuned!
Is the game being developed in Unity or a similar engine?
No. Tiny Little Bastards is made in an engine built from scratch, as we believe this is the best way to have full control of the game’s mechanics.
What about PS3/4, Xbox 360/one and Wii U?
We’ll try our best to release to as many platforms as we can. But for the moment, we’re focused on Windows, Mac and Linux only. We’ll let you know if this changes.
Will the game be translated to other languages as well?
Currently, Tiny Little Bastards will only be released in English. But localisation to other languages are not excuded from our plans.
Will there be dinosaurs?
Yes. Absolutely!
