About The Technology
TrackR atlas enables room-based item monitoring through several key technologies. The TrackR atlas utilizes both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy radios to detect the presence of items that have TrackR devices or other Bluetooth-based trackers attached to them. By connecting to your home Wi-Fi network, your items' locations are reported to our server, which can then be securely downloaded to your phone via the TrackR app.
TrackR atlas enables voice-based search through the Amazon Alexa technology. In the future, TrackR will continue to add other voice-based search technologies such as Google Now and Siri as they become available to 3rd party integrations.
We respect your privacy, and you will have the option for your atlas device to help detect other TrackR users' items or just your own. Only you will be able to modify your TrackR atlas settings and retrieve your items' location information.
Timeline
TrackR atlas is currently in development, as we continue to test and improve the technology. As many of you know, crowd-funded projects can experience delays, and we will continue to keep in contact with you if delays occur. We have already launched 3 crowd-funded products to market and have always been able to deliver our products to backers (although sometimes they can take a little longer than expected). Our team will make sure to keep in touch with you throughout the process, and if necessary, you can cancel and get your money back at any time.

Yes, we can ship the TrackR bravo units immediately after the campaign finishes.
