Short Summary
Over the next year, we will be exploring Algonquin Provincial Park and filming a documentary series that takes a look at what the park offers the over 800,000 visitors who flock there each year. We will also be looking at both the native and western history of the park, the parks use as a tool for education and environmental research, how Algonquin has functioned as a source of inspiration to artists and poets, and finally, we will learn from the adventurers who test their grit in the still wild and untamed backcountry.
So, this is a call to action to members of the Algonquin community, from car campers to north men, from day-trippers to trailblazers. If Algonquin Park is as important to you as it is to us, please join us on our journey, reach out to us, share your stories because this is a communal effort, and we can't do it without you.
What We Need & What You Get
![]()
We are looking for $4,000 dollars which of course seems like a lot, but for a project of this scale is still quite low. With the money raised we will be:
Purchasing gear that will allow us to provide the highest quality experience for audiences
Paying for food, lodging, and travel for the crew
Paying for professional post-production work
DISCLAIMER: No money will be going to subjects of the Docu-series as to stay impartial and unbiased.
Any money that you donate to the project will give you access to numerous tiers of rewards that will allow you to take a step into the amazing world of Algonquin Provincial Park and will go towards a project that is working to continue a positive climate change dialogue.
In the event that we do not reach our goal, the project will be modified to work with our new budget and we will look to other possible sources of funding to ensure that the highest quality project is delivered to audiences, we believe fully in this series and we will ensure that it comes to fruition.
The Impact
Our goal is to explore Algonquin Provincial Park, to take our own adventures, to learn from experts and educators, to see the wild and untamed side of the park first hand and to enjoy the more approachable side of Algonquin that allows all Canadian's a chance to escape to nature.
We want to create a series that gives those Canadian's with their own history with the park a deep sense of nostalgia, that showcases the incredible community built around Algonquin. On the other hand, we want to give people who are new to Algonquin the inspiration to go out and explore the park for themselves, our series should work as a jumping-off point.
We are always looking to learn more and we hope that we will pass this excitement for the search onto you.

Risks & Challenges
Of course, with any documentary project, there are always potential risks and challenges involved, but through careful planning and the selection of an amazing crew with a combined experience of over two decades in the film and television industry, we have worked to negate many of those risks.
The main potential risk for our project is a failure to raise our full budget, in the worst-case scenario of that happening we have designed the project with multiple budgets in mind, although this may affect the total scale it will ensure that the main series is completed and delivered to audiences on time and with a high production value.
