A book that ties many together. Who picks up a copy? What powers do they serve? Between missing people and people missing, who will you trust? Twigs and Hearts. Open at your own risk. Twigs and Hearts is a queer supernatural horror audio drama that questions reality, relationships and radios.

Season one follows Iris (a Singaporean bi ace with ADHD) and Zenith (a Jewish autistic aroace) on their hunt to find their missing friend with help from Dylan (an aromantic transmasc) , their ears on the ground. It follows rituals and Angel’s twisted powers over the woods and creatures hiding in them. With a seemingly harmless sitcom, fourth wall breaking, and the blur of reality, Twigs and Hearts mixes new and old to give horror an unsettling tweak.

Contributing would help our podcast finally become a reality and show what 3 years of work can create. If that’s not enough here are a few more reasons to convince you:

As an indie show, we rely on your support to help us get off the ground! You’ll be supporting over 30 cast and crew members, while walking away with some awesome rewards. Our hope is to be able to properly compensate for all the hard work that goes into this show. Season one consists of eight episodes, each over fifteen minutes long. Twigs and Hearts is predicted to contain four seasons total, looking at characters and the book itself from many different angles. 

What We Need & What You Get

Our goal for this campaign is £500 which will go towards paying our hard working team. Below we have broke funds down clearly into a chart:

• £300 will go towards paying voice actors for their time and talent with £10 per episode for big roles and £5 per episode for smaller roles. We have roughly 19 voice actors in a diverse range of roles, all talented and hard working. 
• £200 will go towards editing, both audio editing and sound design. Our team consists of 9 audio editors and 4 sound designers. Money will be split £5 per episode for audio editors and £10 per episode for sound designers. Our sound designers not only source sound effects but create them, making original soundscapes personal to this show.

What if we don’t reach our goal?

Sound designers and big roles will also be dropped to £5. If we cannot afford to even do that, it will be split like the pie chart shown above.

Stretch Goals

In the hopes that we surpass our minimum we need to raise, we have set out some stretch goals:

• £600: a public QnA will be held and posted to the main feed after season one has been released. At this goal we can afford to pay our script writers £5 per episode. Before this point our script writers, and several more roles go unpaid.
• £700: bonus episodes will be posted to the main feed during the break between season one and two. At this goal we can afford to pay audio editors £10 per episode.
