What We're About
Hey World, I'm Daven and I'm the director and one of the writers of Typecast. I've spent the last 3 years working in New York City's film industry in various roles from Boom Operator to editor. I'm finally producing my first short film! It's not easy making it into show business. It's hard to make a move that isn't lateral and if your'e not careful, you'll get stuck in the same position/role for YEARS (typecasting happens to crew too!). My main motivation for doing Typecast is providing an avenue for both the cast and crew to express themselves creatively and hopefully get them noticed for their extraordinary talents.
Who We Are
Daven Falconer- Director

Daven's known for "The Heart", "Searching for Camelot Part 2: The Quest For The Throne" and "Club Life". He's also worked on "Run All Night", "The Intern" and "Criminal Justice".
Ramiro Quintero- Producer/1st AD
Ramiro is a NYC based Assistant Director with several years of experience. He is best known for his work on “The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst”, “White Girl”, and most recently “The Brits Are Coming”.
Gabe McCabe- Production Manager

Gabe is an NYC base Production Coordinator best known for his work on "Deadly Sins". He's worked on a wide range of productions from commercials to features including "The Fly Room", "Lillyhammer" and "Straight out of Tompkins".
Ciara J. Lewis- Writer
Ciara J. Lewis; screenwriter, playwright and director based out of Connecticut. With a successful season adapting the best selling novel "Once You've Touched The Heart" by Iris Bolling (praised by USA Today) into a screenplay for CW Richmond, she has developed her love for mixed media.

Nelson is a NYC based singer/actor known for his work in Ugali, This Man and Beautiful Nightmare. He's made appearances in "Blue Bloods"

Tim's a NYC based actor known for "Angelo's Money" and "The Different". Tim's made appearances in "The Wolf of Wall Street", "The Good Wife", "Pan Am" and various other productions.
ESJAE as Marcus

ESJAE is an NYC based recording artist and actor. He's best known for his work on "Complex tv", and "z100's Jingle Ball featuring Nick Jonas". He's also made appearances in "Trainwreck", "Power", "Monumental Mysteries" and various other films and commercials.

We can't make this film without your help! To have the resources it requires to make a solid film on your own without help is practically impossible (unless you have a rich uncle somewhere and that's definitely not the case). You're support is invaluable to us.
Risks & Challenges
The worst possible thing that could go wrong, will go wrong. We've been in the game a while and we're prepared for it. We've put together a crew with years of experience and I'm confident that whatever challenges come our way, we'll be able to tackle them!
