Short Summary
Hello! We are the Men's Ultimate Frisbee team at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Last year, the team made its first appearance at the College National Championships and finished 13th in the country.
In our first tournament this Spring, at Queen City Tuneup in North Carolina, we had an extremely strong showing where we overcame University of North Carolina(previously #2 in the country) in the semifinals and came up just short against University of North Carolina Wilmington in the finals.
This year, stakes are even higher. We are all in, with a full year of coaching from Tiina Booth and Evan Johnson, and we need you to help us make this an unforgettable season for current players, alumnus, friends and family!
We've shown that we are serious contenders for a deep run this season, but we need your support to help us getting there! Your purchase will help to fund the increasingly expensive spring season that we are about to embark on, and allow the players to focus on working out 6 days a week in order to get ahead of the competition for this season.

What We Need & What You Get
In order to reach the highest competitive level, we must travel all over the country to get to the best tournaments available. We traveled to North Carolina(Queen City) and finished second. We will also be traveling to Texas(Centex), and, if we raise enough money, then South Carolina(Eastern's) to round out our Spring season at three of the highest level tournaments in the country.
Following these events, we will need to travel to the College Championships in Wisconsin.
Every single purchase will help UMass Ultimate get closer to achieving what it has never achieved before!
If we are short of our goal, then we may not be able to attend Eastern's, which would provide us with valuable experience against the nation's top teams.
The Impact
As college students at a public university, coming up with significant funds for traveling all over the country is extremely difficult. For this reason, we are pleading for your support of our season. Thank you.
Risks & Challenges
If we don't raise enough money through this fundraiser, and others, we may not be able to attend all of the tournaments that we hope to attend. This would be a major hurdle for us to have to overcome this season.
We need to go to these tournaments, so that we may qualify for Nationals, which by no means is guaranteed.
