Imagine doing your homework on a smart-phone...half of California's Latino children do so, late at night, when the public libraries close. Online darkness is the reality for tens of thousands of low-income Latino families in California. Even in Silicon Valley's backyard, thousands of Latino children are waiting to be connected.

• We have an impressive track record and can get the job done. Since 2010, we have graduated 7,000 individuals from basic computer training, connected 1,500 families to the Internet, and provided 1,400 families with a free computers.
  

Why It Matters?

• 1 in every 2 Latino children do not have a computer or Internet access at home; these children are the future of California.
  
• The biggest barrier to accessing technology in California is cost. Latino families earn the very least of all ethnic groups in California, an average of $21,000 per year.
