Our Story
I'm Greg Saunders, designer and writer of the Summerland and In Flames tabletop roleplaying games, both available through drivethrurpg and in print form from Cubicle 7. In Flames is a science fiction rpg using the D6 system that was released at GenCon 2011:

Uplifts is a 70-odd page sourcebook covering some of the more popular alien creatures uplifted to human-scale intelligence in the universe of In Flames. Each is covered in detail, including deescription, perks and complications, statistics, and rules on creating Uplift hosts for Exile player characters to inhabit. Plus details on famous uplifters, uplifter equipment and more!
Uplifts is written, proofed and ready to go,
what we need is more art such as a golorious cover to match the In
Flames cover by Paul Bourne shown above. However, with child number 2 due in a
month cash flow is tight, so I'm using this fundraiser to pay for the cover and internal art.
The Impact
If this fundraiser happens, Uplifts will be packed with lovely, lovely art showing many of the very alien and rather weird Uplifts of the Flame Worlds, and will have a lovely Paul Bourne cover. If we don't make it, the book will still come out from drivethrurpg and Cubicle 7, but the art won't be as good as I, or you, would hope, and a couple of pieces will be recycled from the main rule book.
What We Need & What You Get
I'm asking for $500. This will pay for the cover, and for more internal art. Simple as that. In return, you'll get a pdf copy of the game and one of the perks listed to the side. If you like In Flames you'll love Uplifts, so let's make it as good as we can! If I raise more than expected, I'll roll that back into art for the next In Flames supplement, tentatively on Tech of the Flame Worlds.
