All across America right now, hundreds of wheel gymnasts are training, developing routines and sticking landings. Wheel is a young sport in this country: the USA Wheel Gymnastics Federation is just 12 years old. All WGF coaches, educators, and students are passionate about developing the sport and supporting all who want to learn. Many of our students come from low income communities and have looming expenses of college tuition and competition travel. As a result, the WGF is offering this special drive to serve those in need of financial assistance with scholarships. By supporting this nonprofit (501c3) program, your donation is tax deductible, helps grow the wheel community, and allows us to extend scholarships for the athletes on Team USA who are working hard towards competing in Lingnano, Italy in June 2015.
Meet Two Scholarship Students...
Prado Keme- "I'm originally from Togo, West Africa. I moved with my family 13 years ago to Chicago. I started with wheel in the scholarship program in 2004. I have been working hard to hone my skills and better understand the sport. At the Junior World Championship 2013 in Chicago, I placed 4th in vault, and 7th overall. I am hungry and training harder then ever for another chance to reach the podium. With your help, my dreams of a 6th medal for Team USA in Italy 2015 can become a reality. Elly Craig - "I look forward to competing in Italy because I am excited to meet other wheelers from around the world and to be a part of this big rolling family! Wheel gymnastics is really special to me. I wheel because it makes me feel invincible, like I could fly. I work hard because there is always room for improvement, and I am aiming to be the best I can be. " (click here for full bio from Elly)

Beyond the Competition
US Wheel Gymnastics encompasses recreational, artistic, and competitive wheel gymnastics. With your support, we can offer more national locations and expand classes to reach more students. As a non-profit that started with just 50 students, we have grown in just three years and now provide instruction to more than 600 students. In addition to enabling our team to represent their team at the World Championships, being held internationally for 40 years now. Your contribution helps us expand our base by growing as a community and increasing interest in Wheel gymnastics as both a sport and performance art.
Rewards
Wheel gymnasts learn more then just physical skills. These young people have the opportunity to travel internationally, and interact with peers from all over the globe. They are developing vocational skills and maturity for a lifetime.
