USELESS

Is the story of a girl pursuing her love of barrel racing, and overcoming the loss of her mom. This film is unique in that we have partnered with local rodeos, and riders to create a big movie feel, on a little movie budget.

Written and Directed by Josiah Burdick, and Produced by Charity Ambrose (Josiah's sister) this film is the first of (hopefully!!!) many from this local Montana team.

Both were instrumental parts on the feature "Silk Trees" which was filmed in 2007 in Goshen Indiana which was sort of like their "Film School" experience and gave Josiah the courage to continue on to direct two episodes of a kids series (with Charity's help) and then founded the production company Fearless Pictures in 2012.

Now they're on track to shoot the feature "Useless" kicking off principle photography on August 21st along with a very talented crew, and an equally talented cast.

By taking part in this campaign, you help to ensure that "Useless" is created to the standard of excellence the crew is aiming for.

This film could be a real turning point for everyone involved, and the level of quality that's put into it directly impacts this. Without the money from this campaign, the final product will not be the same.

What We Need & What You Get

These additional funds go directly into the logistics of making this film come to life, and getting that Hollywood look we've come to expect. Some of these things include:

1. A few necessary pieces of equipment.
2. A cinema quality camera rental.
3. Batteries to power that camera rental.
4. Boring "logistics" type stuff (that is still quite necessary).

But guess what?? We have some amazing and exciting perks! Here is your chance to take part in a rodeo movie, get a pre-release copy when it's finished or your very own (limited edition!) piece of wardrobe worn on set by the cast.

Every penny we receive will be allocated to the highest priority items. (Like Hard drives) so if we don't hit our goal, that's ok! We're still going to make this movie. But it just might not look as good in the end. So please take part and help make this movie shine!

We believe that this is more than just the movie "Useless". This is a starting point for films to be made (not just our own) in the flathead valley, to hopefully add to the economy in whatever way we can. As a production company, our goal is make positive, uplifting films that change the way people think. That impact the world for good. And it all starts here.
