The coolest wallet for minimalists and artists

Story:
Hi everybody there! I am Alexei Nagel, the developer and manufacturer of the Victoria wallet. It is my happy fortune to tinker crazy and unusual things, especially when it gives me a real pleasure. To test, to play and to tinker have been my passions since the time I can remember. Even as a child I tried to build my own bike. Later, wood sculptures, furniture, and even radios used to be my hobbies. I could never stop with tinkering! Why? Because I love it!

Why a wallet?
I was always in search of a special kind of wallet. Although the market is literally flooded with different kinds of wallets, there has never been anything suitable for me till now. I need a wallet that is like a shadow - everywhere with me. Thus, it must be easy and lie unobtrusive in my pocket, but being out of the pocket it must be an elegant eye-catcher. Finally, it keeps all my important documents together and deserves therefore a lot of attention.

About a year has passed from the moment as I started to tinker my own wallet. I remembered as being a little boy in kindergarten I made a kind of a “magic bag” from rubber bands and paper. After having made many various prototypes in the past months, I have finally achieved the result with which I can be very satisfied. And the best of all is: The wallet can be also designed individually. 

Style:
The wallet Victoria has a simple design and is very practical for everyday life. Banknotes, credit cards, notes and receipts (and of course much more) can be easily stowed with the help of the wallet. The wallet Victoria has been an eye-catcher at numerous fairs - especially in combination with business cards. With the help of the eccentric function of the wallet I stayed in memory of many people and thus received significantly more callbacks from the interested. 

Universal:
The Victoria wallet is very light, has a comfortable size and lies well in the hand. The wallet can be quickly hidden in a trouser pocket or a pocket of a jacket and remains not obtrusive. Even in a woman's handbag, the Victoria wallet can be found very well.

Material:
After long considerations and countless tests the material for the purse has been finalized: acrylic glass.
Acrylic glass is durable, light and can be multifunctionally used. Additionally acrylic has a high gloss finish and offers very good maintenance qualities.

Production:
For the reason that the price of production remains adequate, the minimal produced quantity should be at least 300 wallets. It means at least 600 acrylic plates that are needed for the production. The acrylic plates are cut by a laser and brought to a right form. A pattern is engraved on one side of the plates, and then they are colored. Both acrylic plates are manually connected by an elastic rubber band. The used rubber band is very stable and extremely durable. I've been using my first prototype since 7 months – faultless and without any weaknesses. The rubber band remains in a good form even by an intensive usage of the wallet.

If I succeed in a start of the project – of course only with your great support - Victoria wallet has great potentials for further developments in different directions - for example in color, personalized engraving, different materials (leather, aluminum, wood, etc.). The possibilities are far from being exhausted.

Story:
Seit gegrüßt alle miteinander! Ich bin Alexej Nagel der Entwickler und Hersteller des Victoria Portmonee. Ich brenne dafür verrückte und außergewöhnliche Dinge zu basteln, vor allem wenn es mir richtig Freude bereitet. Ausprobieren, Spielen und Tüfteln sind für mich eine Passion, seither ich zurückdenken kann.  Schon als Kind versuchte ich mein eigenes Fahrrad zu bauen. Später mussten Holzskulpturen, Möbel und sogar Radios für mein Hobby herhalten. Mit dem Basteln konnte ich niemals aufhören! Warum? Weil ich es liebe!

Wieso ein Portmonee?
Ich war immer auf der Suche nach einer besonderen Art von Geldbörse. Obwohl  der Markt förmlich von Portmonees überflutet ist, war für mich bis jetzt nichts passendes dabei. Ich brauche eine Geldbörse die wie ein Schatten überall dabei ist. Demnach muss es leicht und unauffällig in der Tasche liegen aber beim Hervorholen als eleganter Blickfang dienen.  Letztendlich bewahrt es alle meine wichtigen Dokumente an einem Ort  auf und verdient deshalb auch viel Aufmerksamkeit.

Etwa ein Jahr ist es her als ich angefangen habe an meinem eigenen Portmonee zu basteln. Dabei erinnerte ich mich, wie ich als Kind im Kindergarten aus Gummibändern und Papier eine Art „Zaubertasche“ gebastelt habe. Nach einer Vielzahl von Prototypen in den letzten Monaten habe ich endlich das Ergebnis erreicht mit dem ich sehr zufrieden sein kann. Und das Beste ist:  Die Geldbörse lässt sich auch individueller gestalten.

Design:
Die Victoria Geldbörse verfügt über ein schlichtes Design und ist überaus praktisch für das alltägliche Leben.  Mit Hilfe des Portmonees lassen sich Geldscheine, Kreditkarten, Notizzettel und auch Kassenbons kinderleicht verstauen (natürlich auch vieles mehr).  Auf zahlreichen Messen war die Victoria Geldbörse ein Blickfang vor allem in Kombination mit Visitenkarten. Mit Hilfe der ausgefallenen Funktion des Portmonees blieb ich vielen Menschen in Erinnerung und erhielt somit deutlich mehr Rückrufe von Interessenten.

Universal:
Das Victoria Portmonee ist sehr leicht, besitzt eine angenehme Größe und liegt dabei  gut in der Hand.  In der Hosen- oder Sakkotasche lässt sich die Geldbörse schnell verstecken und fällt dabei nicht auf. Auch in einer Frauenhandtasche lässt sich das Victoria Portmonee sehr gut wiederfinden.

Material:
Nach einigen langen Überlegungen und unzähligen Test steht das Material für die Geldbörse endgültig fest: Acrylglas.
Acrylglas ist robust, leicht und vielseitig einsetzbar. Dabei besitzt Acrylglas eine hochglänzende Oberfläche und bringt sehr gute Pflegeeigenschaften an den Start.

Produktion:
Damit der Preis der Herstellung angemessen bleibt, rechne ich mit mindestens 300 Geldbörsen. Dabei handelt es sich um mindestens 600 Acrylglas-Platten die für die Produktion benötigt werden. Die Acrylglas-Platten werden mit Hilfe eines Lasers ausgeschnitten und in die handliche Form gebracht.  Auf eine Seite wird ein Muster graviert und anschließend gefärbt. In Handarbeit werden beide Acrylglas-Platten durch ein elastisches Gummiband miteinander verbunden. Dabei ist das verwendete Gummiband sehr stabil und äußerst langlebig. Meinen ersten Prototyp benutze ich schon seit 7 Monaten, einwandfrei und ohne Schwächen. Das Gummiband bleibt auch bei intensiver Benutzung der Geldbörse in Form.

Sollte mir ein erfolgreicher Start des Projekts gelingen - natürlich nur mit eurer großartigen Unterstützung - hat die Victoria Geldbörse großes Potenzial für weitere Produktentwicklungen. Dabei plane ich zur Zeit in viele unterschiedliche Richtungen z.B. Farbe, persönliche Gravur, verschiedenste Materialien (Leder, Aluminium, Holz etc.).  Die Möglichkeiten sind noch lange nicht ausgeschöpft.

Risiken:

Trotzdem weiß ich noch nicht, wie groß das Interesse an der Geldbörse wirklich sein wird.
