Virchy Studio is not an ordinary cycling class. 

We also apply auto-resistance control in Virchy Studio, meaning resistance changes according to the instructors' orders. All you have to do is follow instructions and break a sweat.

You can compare your performance with an instructor through the figures shown on the screen. With a Bluetooth heart rate monitor, you can seamlessly manage your heart rate as well.

 3) VR Riding Game (rora)

RORA, as a 3D game supported by various indoor cycling hardware, provides a realistic VR riding experience using a head mounted display. We have formed a partnership with ANSWER Inc., the company that has developed RORA. With top-notch big data analysis techniques, you can enjoy your experience with VR riding games by using Virchybike and RORA.

Users can be motivated through the competition and record breaking. We provide the social platform, so break a sweat together.

Working out listening to music is not enough

Through studies, we concluded that the reasons they can continued to work out were because of 'ceaseless determination', 'challenging their limits', and 'accountability'. “A lot of people fail to work out consistently because they become unmotivated especially when it comes to indoor exercise.” - Jaehyun Shin, the father of the Virchybike, who has a mission of making fitness accessible, fun, and dynamic.

Early Prototype 'RX Cycle' 

As a sports lover, he wants to share his accomplishments with others. To deliver our mission to the masses, we decided to design an indoor bike because of its unique versatility and our goal is to make it safe and easy for anyone to use. To make an indoor bike more interesting and smart, we designed our first smart indoor bike called ‘RX Cycle’ in 2015 in under two years.

Virchybike Pro

Through another two years of improving and upgrading, we finally successfully launched ‘Virchybike Pro’ in early 2017. However, due to its high price, we felt that many people couldn't afford it as easily as we would like. Therefore, to deliver our core values to the masses, we designed another model, ‘Virchybike LITE’. From kids to seniors, most of people can enjoy Virchybike LITE because of its reasonable price and safe design.

Risks and challenges

Similar to other startups, we can face some unexpected obstacles. The biggest possible problems may be, as you know, the risk of completion or delivery problems. We’re working hard on successfully completing this amazing product, but still there are possibilities of encountering obstacles. 

1. Execution Risk 

We already finished making the Virchybike LITE, but we’re still on developing stage of the VR fan. We can technologically connect the fan with the bike, but we’re looking for partners for mass production. Because we have dependable partners being considered, we’re pretty sure we can provide you the VR fan in optimal condition when you receive the product. Additionally, we’re still developing the app for iOS and editing some course videos. The app is available under the Android operating system, so if you’re using the Android, you can check the current service now. However, for iOS users, please hold just a little longer! 

2. Delivery Risk 

As our product is not a tiny and cheap hardware product, there’s a possibility of tariff charges. Our assembly facility is located in China, so there’ll be no extra charging for Korea and the US. However, it may be charged to backers from other countries, so please be aware of that.
