The campaign would run from November 28th till December 18th. You can have the opportunity to own the Constantine for the value of $429 to $479. There would not be stretch goals as we believe that our backers should receive the best possible version of the Constantine irregardless of the amount funded.
Lastly, we do hope to receive
your backing for a final push towards production for the Constantine and plans are also in place for our 2nd collection but it would not be possible without your backing. We are
in for the long run and would with no doubt come back with another exciting
watch. but first, we would need your full support for our first model.
Part 2 – 'Constantine'
The Constantine features a a robust
Swiss Made ETA 2824-2 automatic movement housed in a 40mm case along with a beautiful guilloche dial and it is designed with the idea for the watch to look both elegant and well proportioned.

The dial
The waffle patterned dial
is a very classic and practical design and it expresses itself subtlely and
offer different shades when positioned at different angles. It gives the watch a mid century vibe and very much like the classic dress watches from the 50s. The details of the dial grows on you over time and you would slowly appreciate it. Along with the applied hour indices, it creates depth when you look at the watch in different lighting conditions.

A 2 mm thick sapphire crystal with underside AR (Anti-Reflective) coating protects the Constantine's dial. Sapphire is the obvious choice for the watch crystal instead of Mineral as it offers superior scratch resistance and clarity. The sapphire crystal reduces optical distortion and maintains legibility even at extreme angles. The AR coating enhances the Constantine's legibility in intense lighting environments that might produce reflections.

The movement
A quality automatic watch can work for decades
with regular servicing and unlike quartz movements, it does not need any
battery change. All it requires is a good wind and it is set to go. That
is why our movement of choice would be the highly revered ETA 2824-2. The no nonsense movement is known for its reliability and consistency have been used by many major Swiss watch houses such as Omega, IWC and Brietling. With regular servicing, it should last a lifetime due to its robust construction and manufacturing quality.
Why Swiss and not Japanese?
Many Microbrand watches uses Miyotas and Seiko movements. They are pretty solid movements in their own right but the 2824-2 is a proven
workhorse since its first variant was introduced in the sixties. We want ensured quality for our timepieces and for them last for a long to come without any major problems. The
2824-2 is also more easily serviced as most watch technicians are familiar with
the movement itself and parts are more readily available as well. With that in mind, the pricing of our watches are not much higher than those with Miyotas and are also considerably lower than most 2824-2 powered watches because we strive to provide solid and yet at the same time, affordable watches.

The 2824-2 is a self winding movement
with 38 hours of power reserve, hacking feature, 4 Hz operating
frequency, 25 Jewels and ETACHRON regulator system.

The elegant butterfly clasp allows the watch to be worn on more conveniently and also ensures that it fits seamlessly and comfortably on
the wrist.

About the film
The short film by Vorque depicts
a beautiful story that shows how the same watch bonds father and son.
The film starts off with the
son reminiscing the journey that he went through together with the watch that
was given by his father. The watch has always been there with him throughout
and when he achieved what he had set out for, he went back to where it all
started. What this shows is that the father
would always be a constant part of the watch that the son would always have;
just like a companion

Part 4 – Production Timeline:
![]()
Delivery would be scheduled in April 2016.
From the time we place a production order in December, the movement would arrive roughly in 90 days. All the production of the other parts will be completed during that interval. Then, after movements arrive, they will be customised and assembled.
All the funds raised from Indiegogo will be used to pay for full production of the watch and should we exceed our funding goal, all the excess funds would be for the planning and production of our 2nd collection. We hope that with a successful campaign, we can establish ourselves and unlock the potential value for the Constantine that you would receive.
Production would begin as soon as our funding goal is reached and hopefully it would be sooner than the project deadline. This would shave off some time from the estimated production schedule.

Risks and Challenges
One huge problem for new products are quality issues but after successfully building three fully functional and quality prototypes, Vorque is very confident in our partners to deliver products that are up to our standards. No product is 100% defect free but we would minimise whatever defects we have before making the final delivery. If there are any defects, we would not hesitate to rectify it in the shortest possible time within our capabilities.
As for the movements, our partners have assured us that they will secure the movements within 90 days upon order. There might be unexpected issues which could cause delays and we absolutely have no control over it but the chances of that happening is very slim.
*What if we do not meet our funding goal*
We went for a flexible funding model as as we would like to have credit card payment as an option. With that in mind, if we don't meet our funding goal, it depends on the amount raised. If it is nearing our goal, we would push on and go for another round of fund raising. But if it is too much of a difference between the amount raised and our goal, we would guarantee full refund to every backer. We believe that a brand is built on trust and we would stand by our values and do what we promised.
