Prior to filming Wolfe, I directed two projects - Quinn and White Noise - which can be found on the Ambient Hour Productions YouTube channel. These smaller concept stories were my take on a superhero action/drama movie. In my opinion, independent filmmakers rarely make action movies anymore. Especially since the release of Iron Man in 2008, the MCU has dominated the market and indie filmmakers tend to shy away from the genre unless it's a blockbuster hit. I wanted to break that glass ceiling and create a unique and original concept. With a seven-to-eight movie plan, I aim to tell stories from an unexplored and often-overlooked character perspective. After all, doesn't everyone want to be seen?"
For the past few months, the Cast and Crew of Wolfe has been steadily and persistently working on creating an amazing and fun film. From early 6am call times to below freezing weather, it seems like nothing could stop this group of hard working and talented individuals. However, after everyone's hard work seemed to be coming to a halt as we gathered our final footage to edit in post-production- Disaster struck. Our hard drive, which contained almost 20 scenes worth of footage, was accidently knocked off of a table. All of us apart of Wolfe were heartbroken when we first heard, unsure at first if it meant we'd have to redo all those long set days. But we were given good news by Secure Data Recovery in Chattanooga, Tn. The footage could be recovered- if only for a taxing price for an almost no budget film. $1,729.95 was the quote given to us to fix the hard drive and repair the footage. We are immensely grateful to the team of Secure Data Recovery, who are willing to hold onto our hard drive and restore the footage while we can raise the money to pay them. So that's where you- the contributor and donators- can help us with Wolfe. We have the next following weeks to raise enough funds to fix our hard drive as well as raise money for merchandise which can be bought through different perks located on the right side of the screen. Our $2,500 Campaign budget also allows for any extra fees associated with fixing the hard drive and if not needing the full amount, the rest will go to putting Wolfe into Film Festivals. In conclusion, We can get back on track with your help, whether that's through donating, liking our content, sharing with friends, or simply taking the time to read through out Indiegogo, We appreciate your continued support for Wolfe!
Budget Breakdown for Wolfe
The estimated cost to repair our hard drive is $1,725.92 through Secure Data Recovery based in Chattanooga, TN. Additionally, we need around $500 to help with the cost of merchandise such as stickers, posters, and Wolfe T-Shirts, which will be available to donators through our unique perks. Since we can't account for all hidden fees we added an additional $200 to our budget, which, if not needed for repair costs, will be used for film festival entry fees. If we are able to reach our goal of $2,500, anything over our budget will also be used for Film Festival Entry Fees.
