In 2018 John received an Emmy Award for his work on the children’s educational television show Abracadabra.
In 2018, John released his debut horror/sci-fi short, The Conduit, which Dread Central praised as “a throwback to the monster movies of yesteryear”. He is currently in the development stage of Trucksquatch, his feature debut based on the faux trailer of the same name. Trucksquatch is a horror-comedy about a Confederate flag hat-wearing Sasquatch who uses his deadly pickup truck to hunt down a group of teens in the hills of Appalachia.
John is a native of West Virginia, where he lives with his wife and son.
Jeremy Herbert - Taylor Family Vacation '93

Jeremy Herbert is a Rondo-nominated filmmaker and fan of Hawaiian shirts. Since childhood, he's split the difference obsessing over horror movies and theme parks. Though he writes about them both for various websites, Taylor Family Vacation '93 marks the first time he'll be mixing the two in front of the camera. Herbert and co-writer, Wolf Stahl, have turned out award-winning short scripts (The Things With The Glowing Green Eyes) and feature scripts alike (The Other Poseidon Adventure). The tentative star of Taylor, Morgan McLeod, has worked with him on every project so far, earning plaudits for his performance in The Thing About Beecher's Gate.
Christopher G. Moore - You've Been Saved

Christopher G. Moore is an award-winning filmmaker from North Carolina known for his short films Backward Creep, Gut Punched, Knob Goblins, Disengaged and Foodie.
His love for movies and filmmaking came from watching the original Star Wars movies as a kid and being interested in how those films were made. He became enamored with the horror genre by renting every horror movie that dropped on the video rental store shelves back in the 80s as well as by reading about gore effects and horror filmmakers in the pages of Fangoria magazine. The films Evil Dead 2, The Thing, A Nightmare on Elm Street and The Silence of the Lambs are a huge inspiration for him as a filmmaker.
In 2003 he won $5000 for 3rd place in a nationwide KFC commercial contest. In 2008 he got into his first film festival, the All-American Film Festival, with his John Woo action parody, Hard Stapled. The film ended up winning Best Short Comedy. His award-winning film Foodie was mentioned in a 2012 New Yorker article on cannibal movies. His films have screened and won awards at film festivals across the world.
He was co-writer on the hit series Mario Warfare for the YouTube channel Beat Down Boogie and he even played the character Kamek in the show and dubbed the voice of actor who played Link. All the episodes together have compiled over 103 million views so far.
Outside of filmmaking and screenwriting, he's also a co-host on the Gruesome Magazine podcasts Horror News Radio and Heroes and Droids and he sometimes can be seen on film panels or cosplaying at conventions like Dragon Con. His mashup cosplay of Doctor Stranger Things went viral the first time he wore it in public. The co-writer of Doctor Strange even tweeted a picture of it.
His most recent award-winning horror short Backward Creep is being turned into a feature film and he's currently working with his producing partner and co-writer Amanda Stone to flesh out the script with a goal to film at the Outer Banks of North Carolina by the end of the year.
