From award winning short documentary DROWNING RIVER, ML Lincoln (Director/Producer), together with Patrick Gambuti, Jr. (Producer/Writer/Editor), an Emmy Award winning editor who also worked as editor and co-director on AT THE EDGE OF THE WORLD, and Kurt Engfehr (Consulting Producer), the main editor and co-producer on two of Michael Moore’s films, the Oscar winning BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE, which he also won the American Cinema Editors award for best documentary editing and Cannes Palme d’Or for box office smash FAHRENHEIT 9/11, comes the powerful, feature-length documentary Wrenched.
Wrenched captures the passing of the monkey wrench from the pioneers of eco-activism to the new generation who will carry Edward Abbey's legacy into the 21st century. The fight continues to sustain the last bastion of the American wilderness - the spirit of the West.

Wrenched has received rave reviews at film festival and community screenings across the country. Wrenched has been accepted into 14 film festivals to date, including Melbourne, and has been invited to screen at the 50th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act National Convention in Albuquerque this October. This is a film that not only inspires people but poses the question “how can we seriously affect a more livable future?”

NOW THAT’S A GRASS ROOTS ACTION!Your contribution today will help get this film to a global audience by allowing us to secure theatrical, video on demand, and television broadcast rights. Any amount you can afford to give--large or small--will make a difference.
In an age of runaway climate change and exploitation of our public lands, we need Edward Abbey's voice now more than ever. A quarter of a century after his death, Wrenched brings to life his vision, legacy and friendships.

What Others Are Saying

“Reading Edward Abbey, I realized that there was kind of a different way to do things and environmentalists didn't always have to play by the rules. I think if we're going to have a future, a lot of people are going to think about what it really personally means to stand up and defend the things that we care about.”--
