How does it work?
Share... Simply download the free app, verify your phone, and begin sharing your parking space location whenever you approach your car or turn the key. Xpot can work in the background, or you can easily notify nearby drivers with one tap.
Then Find. Then when you need to find the next nearby spot to park, the network shows and directs you to that location. Xpot doesn't reserve the space, so it could be taken by the time you get there.
- Xpot could reduce the amount of time we spend looking for parking, reduce traffic congestion in your city, and reduce vehicle emission pollution in cities, by 3-5%. That's a huge win-win-win. It's simple, but powerful.
- The more of us who use Xpot to automatically (and anonymously) share our parking space, the better it Xpot will work when we need to find a parking spot.
- Your contribution will make Xpot the coolest and simplest product possible. Xpot will save millions of hours of driving and millions of gallons of gas (and the resulting vehicle emissions) if implemented far and wide. This campaign is a way for us early adopters to join up and give Xpot the super powered launch it needs to reach that goal.
- We need to make Xpot a great mobile app from the get-go, so that's why we're running this campaign. We also need to spread the word with targeted and effective marketing, so some of the budget is set aside for that. We want to pour every dime we raise into making a world class, cross-platform mobile app and getting it into the hands of early adopters and evangelists, so it catches on like wildfire.

We've determined that we need $45K for app development to get the fantastic app we envision. Apps that deal with driving and networking need to be dead-simple and intuitive. The remaining budget will be frugally spent on scalability, legal and administration essentials, and a go-to-market strategy and ad buy. Because Xpot will work best with a certain critical mass in our target market, we need to give it a boost.
Every dollar you contribute gets us closer to the goal of making parking faster and easier, and reducing vehicle emissions and street traffic. If you live in a city or bustling town, you will probably benefit from Xpot when you need to park your car, and your city will benefit as well.
We are going to launch a beta version 'soft' launch around Christmas 2018, so it will be available in your app store early in 2019!
