Brad Bledsoe playing 1938 LAPD detective Nick Sweet. Brad is a working stage and screen actor. He is currently performing in the Tournament of Kings show at the Excalibur Hotel located on the Las Vegas Strip.

Lesta Isley playing Mary Star. Lesta is a talented up and coming Las Vegas-based actress. This film project will be her debut film and we're excited to have her.

Joe Palubinsky playing 1938 LAPD Police Captain Dale Simmons. Joe is a veteran actor and has a multitude of film credits to his name. He's definitely bringing a touch of class to this period piece.

T.J. Tyler playing movie studio owner George Edwards. T.J. is an experienced Vegas-based actor who also performs locally as a Frank Sinatra impersonator.
The Plan
We plan to start filming for a four-day shoot around August 15, 2019 - August 18, 2019. Post production will begin on or around Labor Day weekend and hope to have the final film completed by late fall 2019.
What We Need & What You Get
To make this film noir a reality, we are asking for $10,000. This amount will be divided as follows:
- Production Equipment Rental - $6,000
- Talent - $1,800
- Production Costs (transportation, location permits, catering) - $1,000
- Wardrobe/Makeup - $500
- Film Festival Submissions - $500

The Crew
This is a dream project for me and our film team. We are based in Las Vegas, NV and have always had a passion for making movies, either short or feature length. We've never been able to afford professional-level equipment or professional actors in our films... until now!
Our hope is to enter this film into film festivals such as the Toronto Int'l Film Festival or the Sundance Film Festival, just to name a few. We also plan to rent theater space here in Las Vegas, NV and host a public screening. The team is curious to see where this film will go!
We've been making short films for years as a group. With your help we can now make the best movie we've made yet - and hopefully many more to come.
