Our Film

Ace of Spades is a 7 minutes emotional drama that explores what people are willing to do in extreme situations and for people they love. It tells the story of a young street performer and aspiring magician, Ace, who sees himself in desperate need for money to pay a debt that has his sister’s life at risk.

With the help of his 10-years-old neighbour, Clarisse, Ace will have to overcome the obstacles that arise as his dubious plan to get such money backfires, leaving him helpless at the hands of his original plan’s victim.

How You Come into the Picture

This short film represents the culmination of a year of learning and improving our particular skill sets, and it’s our chance to prove to ourselves and to the world what we are capable of achieving. Our scope for this project is bigger than most of the previous film projects in this level, but due to the team’s commitment and hard work throughout the year, our teachers and mentors are backing us up and we managed to get the project green-lighted by our school.

We have poured countless hours and our whole hearts into this project, and we will continue to do so until we see the short film finished, but we can’t do this alone. Now is the time when we ask you for your help in making this project come true. We need $800 to make this happen. We appreciate any donations, big or small, as every dollar gets us one step closer to the achievement of our objectives.
