Raising Awareness
Aimee short film will be a social awareness film that will bring to light the silent epidemic of child sex trafficking that happens right here in the United States. We will increase awareness through the power of captivating and insightful storytelling by Director Lee Whittaker who's last social awareness film about homelessness won over 16 International film awards, including the "Film Heals" award.

What We Need & What You Get
What we need to get this project started is $10,000. These funds will help pay for equipment rentals, crew, permits to film in Los Angeles, and camera rentals. It costs a lot of money to film in L.A. but we pride ourselves in doing so, for this is where it all started.
We have contribution perks for every donation and also offering secret perks throughout the campaign!

If we, for unseen reasons, do not reach our goal we will be funding this ourselves. So we would be gratefully appreciative for all the help we can get.
The Impact
By contributing to AIMEE you will be helping expose the crucial issue of the child sex trafficking epidemic happening right here in the United States. The impact of this film will hopefully drive a movement to change legislation and penalties, increase the awareness, and spark a much needed conversation. Together we can become more informed human activists in this fight against modern slavery.

Risks & Challenges
As with anything else there are always certain challenges we face along the way, especially when filming in Los Angeles. Extra expenses come up during shooting, people's schedules conflict, locations don't work out, etc. Despite all of that, the biggest challenge will we face on his particular project is the subject matter itself.
In the United States there are 100,000-300,000 sexually exploited children. Girls as young as 5 years old are known to have been trafficked and sold into child prostitution. The average age of a trafficked victim in the United States is 14 years old.

Nevertheless, with great challenges come great rewards. The biggest payoff being AWARENESS and with that awareness we can help to bring an end to child sex trafficking.
Other Ways You Can Help
