Short Summary
Hello, I’m Bella, the writer and creator of the BABY MAMA DRAMA: WEB SERIES! Having received my B.A. in Multimedia and Filmmaking in 2015 from NJCU, I’ve been putting sincere effort into fulfilling my passion, gaining experience and creating art with the skills I have been blessed to learn while doing what I love most – STORY TELLING.
With my passion, I was able to create a story that so many of my peers and countless others throughout the world can relate to. The BABY MAMA DRAMA story has resonated with so many people who deserve to know what has become of the characters they've connected to so easily; but that cannot be done without your kindness and generosity.
What We Need & What You Get
We love our fans SO MUCH and have been listening to your suggestions and requests for an even bigger and better season 2! Your contributions will help us deliver the following:
LONGER EPISODES! - ALL episodes in season 2 will be at LEAST 15 min! (Episodes in season 1 were 8-12 min)
MORE EPISODES – We are bringing you EIGHT (8) all new episodes! (Season 1, there were only 6)
MORE CHARACTERS – We’ve had to cast THIRTEEN (13) new characters for season 2 – including the kids of the main cast that the fans have been asking for!
Contributors will enable production to:
- Feed our very deserving cast and crew while on set;
- Have access to better locations;
- Rent more equipment for an even more cinematic production to expand on the quality fans have grown to love;
- Pay some of our “starving” artists/the people this project wouldn't be possible without - It isn't nearly what they deserve considering the impact Covid-19 has had on the film industry, but being able to pay them a little something for their time and effort is essential.
- Props and set design to assist with visual storytelling.
The Impact
We have determined we would need about $3,500 to produce BMD: Part 2 the way we envision it and the way our fans deserve to see it! And because we understand how big of a deal that is to raise, we have come up with some awesome perks to reward those who are fortunate and kind enough to donate – how do these babies sound?
How cool would it be to see your name in the credits with a “Special Thanks” shout out? Or would you like to be ON SET during production during one of our shoot days and see how fun filmmaking is behind the scenes? Or how about a small speaking role that’ll produce footage for you to add to your acting reel and experience to add to your resume? Or would you like to video chat with a member of the BMD cast and ask them WHATEVER you want??
Production for BMD Part 2 has been severely halted based in large part to both Covid-19 and a lack of funding. Please help us finish what we’ve started early 2020 and wrap up production for BMD Part 2 so we can show it to the fans, FINALLY!
Risks & Challenges
What is currently transpiring throughout the country due to Covid-19, our project is experiencing a serious delay. We run the risk of not meeting our goal while attempting to raise funds during a pandemic however it is very important to us to bring our supporters a season 2! As the series creator, I am hoping that no matter the outcome, we are able to push forward and produce an even more entertaining and successful season.
