Ancient story. Modern jokes.
BAE WOLF is a feature-length horror-comedy set in the world of the Beowulf legend.
In our telling of this timeless tale, the hero Beowulf is a woman and a con artist. She and her band of Geats extort villages for protection against fake monsters. But the Danish village of Heorot really is under assault by a very real monster, the desperately-lonely Grendel. Her fraud exposed, Beowulf must transform into a genuine warrior.
Shot on location at a medieval-style castle in Trenton, South Carolina, BAE WOLF boasts striking and authentic production design. But its tone, language, humor and conflicts are all very modern.
BAE WOLF is funny, fast-paced, colorful, playful and weird, with sympathetic heroes, compelling monsters and a surprise ending that will keep people talking. It's got swords, castles, hot men, hotter women and exactly one horse.

Weird ideas are free. Weird movies aren't.
Making a movie like BAE WOLF costs around $30,000. We're asking you to help us raise at least $10,000 of that.
- We're building several monster costumes, multiple special-effects decapitation rigs and something we like to call a "blood cannon."
- Our actors will quit if we don't pay them. So will the horse.
- We're shooting this thing in a marathon three-month period in the sweltering South Carolina summer. Your support pays for transportation, meals, equipment and probably a couple funerals for crew who die during the shoot. Just kidding. Kind of.

We can make you famous. Well, infamous.
- A small donation gets you in the credits.
- Make a bigger donation, and we'll bring you in as a producer. That means an IMDB credit as well as bragging rights at bars.
- In exchange for a really generous donation, we'll create a character for you, if you want. You can be a Danish or Geat warrior, a hapless villager or even a bloody meal for one of our hungry monsters.
