Hello and thank you for checking out the funding campaign for Being a Bird, a virtual reality experience which is being primarily developed for the Oculus Rift virtual reality system.  We are working hard on this game and have made lots of progress so far, but as a very new startup virtual reality game company with very limited resources, We need your help to make this a truly great virtual reality experience. 

I say we referring to Trash Dragon Games, but really, it's just me, and resources are limited. For example, I still owe my brother $200 for the VR development hardware I'm making this experience with.   I'd love to be able to hire some help but that's just completely impossible at this point without your support.

Being a Bird is designed to be an immersive and fun virtual reality experience. In Being a Bird you explore a virtual world as a bird using head tracking systems to control your flight in a way that creates an experience somewhat similar to actually being a bird.

There are also exciting single and multiplayer challenges available around the game world, some of which are based on actual bird experiences and some are simply designed to be fun. Being a bird is designed to be a good game for kids and adults.

If funding is reached, expect at least 3 more in game challenges.

$1 - Early Beta version download available December 25th
$10 - Digital download, DRM-free copy of Being a Bird when the game is released as well as access to an early beta version download available December 25th
$20 - The $10 reward, plus have your name entered in a Thanks to Indiegogo backers section of the credits, which will be accessible from the main menu and also around the game world in certain locations
$50 - The $20 reward, plus have a custom engraving put on a tree (256x256 size image, any offensive messages will be asked to be changed or not included)

$100 - Get the $20 reward and your photo or artwork in a room in a house or apartment building that will be used for several challenges.  (Any offensive or copyrighted images will be asked to be changed or not included)

$200 - Get the $20 reward and design a bird puzzle for us to include in the bird puzzle challenge.  Design the level anyway you want and send us the idea and we will include it in the game, as well as display a plaque on the wall in the level with your own custom message and receive special credit for your support. (We will do our best to ensure all your ideas are implemented, but there are limits to what can be done. Any offensive messages will be asked to be changed or not included)

$300 - Get the $50 reward and pick a bird to be included in the game!  (bird must fit somewhat into our general bird model, no seagulls, eagles, etc.)

$500 - Get the $50 reward and get the game translated into the language of your choice (a small amount of in-game wording may remain in English for some right-to-left languages)

If $10,000 is reached, we will have time and resources to develop a full story line as well as RPG type elements like special abilities needed to solve certain problems or gain access to inaccessible areas. 

If $15,000 is reached we will be able to add other, non-bird NPC's to the game world, including squirrels and deer.
