Background

• Director John Buckley and Producer Lauren Holliger are, along with most of the crew, students pursuing a degree in Entertainment & Media Studies at the University of Georgia in the Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication.
• John has previously directed, filmed, first assistant directed, edited and written a variety of films. He has a background in photography and applies his expert eye to everything he does. 
• Lauren has produced, written, art directed, and location managed for a variety of films. 
• This is our final film within Grady and we want it to be our best one yet! If you contribute or simply share our page, it could make our film a lasting one. 
• We also want to make sure our film is professionally and properly run. Without your help, our set could be madness! (Just kidding, we know what we're doing. But please help us make sure our crew is safe and happy.)

What We Need & What You Get

• We need $1,250 for rental fees, location fees, transportation costs, and keeping our cast and crew happy and fed.
• Our thank you tokens, or perks, range from a thank you on Facebook to a personal invitation to our final screening. 
• If we don't reach our goal, the funds will still be put to good use feeding us and making sure our locations are locked down and properly secured.

The Impact

• This is a story we want to tell well. It's a simple story with plenty of relatable moments for people of all ages. It's simple, but we want to tell it beautifully. 
• This is a final project for many people on our crew. As graduation looms around the corner, we want to give them the best and most memorable final college experience. 
• We also want to give every member on our crew a piece of art they can show off and take with them wherever they go no, matter what career they pursue. Many will pursue a career in filmmaking and this film could be a stepping stone into their first job. You never know how much you could impact someone's life by donating to this little campaign of ours.
