The Story
The story is based on a short comedy film I made years ago and is now expanded into a feature.
Logline: A quirky bike courier (who never removes his helmet) teams up with a charismatic con man to win a disco dance contest and win the heart of a dance teacher.
It's like Saturday Night Fever meets There's Something About Mary.
The script was developed through WeMakeMovies.org with live script readings. They were held at the Broadwater Theatre in Hollywood (to get feedback) and the audience loved it.

Why make this film?
1. Passion for Dance
I love disco! When I was a kid, Soul Train came on after Saturday morning cartoons. I would watch and dance along in front of the television. This is a dance comedy but, dance is one of the purest forms of artistic expression. I want to bring some joy to the world through laughter and the passion for dance which translates to any language.
2. Bike Helmet Safety Awareness
As a former triathlete, I spent a lot of time cycling. I was hit by a car while training. Thankfully, I was wearing a bike helmet to protect me.
A. Cycling is the #1 cause of head injuries among recreational sports.

B. Bike Helmets save lives and serious head injuries by 60%.

3. Positivity
We want to bring joy and laughter into the world (in these post pandemic times). The film will also help the cast & crew make positive steps forward in the careers that they love.
Your contribution will help make an entertaining film that will bring joy, positivity and raises awareness about bike helmet safety and dance.
