A group of enterprising filmmakers needs your help to make a feature!
Heritage is our legacy from the past, what we live with today, and what we pass on to future generations. Our cultural and natural heritage are both irreplaceable sources of life and inspiration.*
This past summer a group of enterprising filmmakers in Mongolia embarked on a challenging journey to make the first-ever epic fantasy adventure film based on a Mongolian folklore: Borolzoi Baatar.
We are making this film to raise awareness on Mongolian intangible cultural heritage (via new media and using state-of-the-art visual effects tools) to encourage our young generations to protect and sustain these forms of cultural expressions.
Here we are now, having completed all pre-production works and the first location shoot, which is roughly 30% of the project, we are set to start our second location shoot.
You can check out below some of the feature films that the members of our production team have worked on as visual effects artist, editor, production designer and director of photography:
-
Aravt (a Mongolia and Inner Mongolia joint production).
-
Duulen Nis (a Mongolia, India, South Korea and Italy joint production).
-
Sodura (a Mongolia production)
What We Need & What You Get

- We have unique perks for you!
The Impact
By contributing to this project, you will be able to take part in this international cooperation in the conservation of one of our world's cultural and natural heritage.
Also, you'll be able to help out enterprising young filmmakers and producers to start a new chapter in the industry.
Other Ways You Can Help
Some people just can't contribute, but that doesn't mean they can't help:
- Please help us get the word out and make some noise about our campaign.
- You can use the Indiegogo share tools to do just that!
And we thank you very much for your contributions! We'll keep you posted about our latest developments, though.
