Once Upon a Time...

There was a nerdy actress in Los Angeles who realized that her group of friends consisted almost exclusively of professional RPG players and professional princesses. How can you resist a mashup like that?

And here's the good news: We have scripts for 6 more episodes, a full season of Royal RPG (that's role-playing game) antics! And we've already filmed the pilot!  It's full of nerdy, silly shenanigans that we hope to release after the next two episodes are funded.

Here's where you come in, kind stranger/new best friend. We have everything ready to go, but filming a web series takes resources and we need all the help we can get!

All fundraising will go straight to offsetting the costs of production: Renting equipment, locations, paying our hardworking cast and crew, feeding, clothing, and wigging the princesses, dressing the set, etc. This project has been a labor of love by everyone involved, and we just need a little boost to share the full season with you!

We were fortunate enough to be able to film the pilot ourselves, but we have 6 more episodes we would love to bring to life. This show means the world to us, and that means we want to make it the best that it can be. We want our princesses to shine!

With that in mind, each episode costs about $10,000 to make. That covers everything from the highest quality equipment and wigs, to competitive compensation for the cast and crew. Here's a breakdown of the expected budget for each episode:

At its heart, "Damsels, Dice, and Everything Nice" is about a group of girls getting together to tell their own stories. It has never been a better time to shine a light on a diverse, female ensemble taking charge of their own lives.  It's finally the moment for these princesses to rescue themselves...with a little help from their friends, some magic, and most importantly you!
