Chimera Productions Is Back for our 12th Year!
Dead Man’s Cell Phone by Sarah Ruhl is a fast and witty dive into isolationism, mortality, and the vice grip that modern technology has on all of us. Jean, an unremarkable, mousy woman, makes a fateful decision at a café and begins a whirlwind turn that pits her against societal norms and one man’s offbeat family.
As she continues deeper and deeper into his crazy world, she finds herself feeling more alive than ever before, but at what cost? Can she get out and keep what she’s found without losing herself? Or is she doomed to the same fate as the dead man at the café?
Join Chimera Productions for their 12th season as they bring their uncompromising approach to theater to this uniquely subversive play.

About Chimera Productions
Chimera Productions was founded by a group of artists who produce plays solely for their artistic merit. Why Chimera Productions? A Chimera is an imaginary monster comprised of incongruous parts; an illusion or fabrication of the mind; something that is fantastically visionary, improbable or the product of an unchecked imagination.
The company’s goal is to only produce work that is interesting, enlightening, and not often seen; to explore the power of theater, and the bond between artist and live audience. Dead Man's Cell Phone is our 12th consecutive production at the Arts Council of Princeton.
What Your Money Will Be Used For
It's simple: 100% of your money winds up directly on the stage. Your donations help to cover the expense of renting theater space, building sets, transportation and lights. What is even more amazing, is our entire cast and crew donates their time to help craft our production. Plus our theater space is also a non-profit community arts home so your funds will continue to give back to the community after the show.
Every donation helps us keep ticket prices affordable to everyone. That way everyone has the opportunity to experience the power of theater for less than a night out at the movies!
