Hello there!
My name Sébastien Godin and I am an independent writer-director based out of North Bay, Ontario. In the past two years, I've directed such films as LYCANIMATOR and OUIJA MUMMY (both of which will be out through Wild Eye Releasing this year!), as well as my little creature homage SLIMOIDS, which is available now on DVD! I am running this campaign to raise funds to shoot not one, but TWO new micro-budget creature features that will be shot and completed within this year.
Short Summary
Contributors fund ideas they can be passionate about and to people they trust. Here are some things to do in this section:
- I'm just a big fan of monsters and making movies like this has been my biggest goal in life and this time I want to make a pair of films that'll fully demonstrate what it is that I want to be making.
- I'm asking for a small sum of money to create two films in sub-genres that mean the world to me: dinosaur movies and little creature films.
- Even the smallest donation will help. SLIMOIDS 1 was very well received and I want to deliver something even wilder this time.
Long story short, I'm just a guy who loves these kinds of movies and wants to make the best contributions to the genre that I possibly can.
What We Need & What You Get

- I am asking for $8000 to make two feature films, which we should all know is not much at all. Roughly $2000 will be spent on DINOGORE while $6000 will go to SLIMOIDS 2, which is the bigger project of the two.
- Something that I think is very appealing about this is that (for the most part) you will NOT have to wait for your perks! Most of these will be digital, meaning some of them will be yours almost immediately following your donations. Scripts, digital copies of SLIMOIDS 1, early access to posters, access to exclusive BTS videos and pictures from the set, ect.
- If I only make enough to make one movie, then I will make one movie. No matter what, something is getting made.
The Impact

- Like I said, making movies like this is my dream and I only want to entertain. These will be the purest films I've made in the sense that they are what I want to see on the screen, 100% unfiltered.
- SLIMOIDS 1 has been well-received and sold fairly well for a micro-budget monster movie. I want the story established in that film to come to full fruition.
- These movies are meant to be fun. I don't want to bring up hard-pressing issues, I don't have a message to convey, I only want to entertain. Helping me bring these monsters to life will in turn help me give back to the genre that has meant the world to me since I was a little kid watching Godzilla movies and trying to recreate scenes with my action figures.

- I work fast and cheap and still try to deliver the best products I have and I anticipate these to be among my very best. There's always going to be risks and challenges, it's the nature of the beast. But I know I can overcome it because I've done it time and time again already.
