Jason Bee, writer/producer/actor
Wearing “multiple hats” is something Jason Bee does well. Previous to Donovan, Jason wrote, produced and directed the short film It Was a Good Day
in which he also played the lead role as Jack. The film premiered at
the USA Film Festival as a “Texas Showcase of Shorts” program.
Jason has spent three years cultivating the idea of Donovan
into the finalized script that it is today. Having already received
critical feedback by friends, family, peers and a few of industry
insiders at various stages in the writing; and then a fully-hosted table
read with actors and an audience, this story has seen an extraordinary
evolution into the powerful screenplay it has become. When executed
properly, this can be a feature film with unlimited potential.
