When we started American Wasteland Entertainment, we knew we wanted to expand into comics down the line. We knew it would be a way to extend our current or past show universes and take audiences even deeper into the worlds of our shows. We would do this by releasing an online version of the comic and then releasing an extended edition in paperback form. 

• We have a fantastic artist that is helping bring this story to life on the page. David Faught is one of the most talented artists in Springfield, Missouri and we are elated to have him as part of the Drifter Series team. His artwork and style alone gives Drifter: Off the Beaten Path its own unique feel that really stands out. 
• Drifter: Off the Beaten Path is the starting point for this venture. The comic is going to be released on DrifterSeries.com in 3 parts, 5-6 pages each, in grayscale.  The extended print edition will be in color and feature another story, moments after the events at the end of Drifter: Broken Road, our award winning and critically acclaimed first season. 

• After the release of Drifter: Off the Beaten Path, our goal is to do more comics set in the Drifter universe and expand on character stories and other events featured in the series. We are even planning other original comic series separate from Drifter. We are excited about this venture and hope you will join us on this journey.
