Hi Guys!

I’m here, for the first time on a crowdfunding platform, to tell you about my new music project and ask for a little help to make it happen.

First of all I’m Edisonnoside, an Italian electronic musician and sound artist based in London, I've been in the electronic music scene for a while and I’ve been involved in many different projects connecting sound and technology to try and expand the boundaries of musical experience and its industry.

Some of my collaborative work has been screened internationally at the 70th Venice Film Festival (Italy), FILE Festival (Brazil), Moscow’s Museum Night (Russia), and many other venues in Switzerland, Australia, Italy, USA, Belgium, UK, Japan.

I had the chance to perform in festivals like Sonar D+ (Barcelona), Plum Festival (Moscow), Mapping Festival (Geneve), Node13(Frunkfurt), among others.

In 2013 I've released my First Solo record, Sadly By You Side. The record consisted also of a Book and a synesthetic iOS app, a processing and remixing tool where each song can be endlessly transformed depending on the images you focus on with your camera.

Now is 2016 I want to move forward with the connection between sound and technology to enhance the concept behind my music, so I’m presenting you MONO NO AWARE.

MONO NO AWARE is my second Album, its's an 11 tracks record that will be out in FALL 2016 for Loyal To Your Dreams, in a beautiful Vinyl Edition and obviously on all digital platforms. Like my previous work, it won't be just an electronic music record in fact, beside the music production, I’m working on a Virtual Reality App for iOS and Android phones that uses Google Cardboards to give a VR experience in a really effective and affordable way.

The app will be a sonic experience based on the music from my record, where sound and visuals will be connected in a synesthetic way. 

Exploring the virtual space through invisible 3D sound sources will activate a multi sensory experience where sound is the driving force for the exploration of a surreal world populated by abstract sound objects.

I think this idea is the perfect way to add a cohesive layer to the concept behind my record but also it can projects a possible future for music where the physicality of sound can be fully experienced in virtual spaces. 

I'm asking your help to make this project a REALITY. 

THE GOAL

My GOAL is to reach £ 2500 to cover for all the different expenses:

• Mixing and Mastering of the record
  
• Limited Edition Vinyl 
  
• Customized Google Cardboard Headset
  
• App development by me coordinating a small group of Graphic and      Motion Graphic Designers.

As you can imagine the amount of work is big and so are the expenses but I really believe the result will make up for it as much as  I’m sure you will love it.

This goes out to you cause like any music record, MONO NO AWARE also is a story and an experience, a personal journey that can be shared with many people, each with their own stories and their own experiences.
