Short Summary
Hi we're Johnny Blanchard and Erica Miller, together we make up Roguegunners Productions.
Between us we have made several short films, many of them award-winning and we're back to ask for help funding our newest short.
Everything must go is a film about family, responsibility and what happens when things come to an end. Despite that description this is a comedy set on the final day of a family owned shop.
As with Lost and Found, our previous short which we also crowdfunded, we can make this film on our own, but any money we can raise will allow us greater access to resources to make the film as good as possible.
What We Need & What You Get
We're asking for £1000, this will enable us to pay our actors and crew more for their time, improve the quality of the props we're using and pay for a professional editor.
Our perks are similar to those on Lost and Found, they're digital so we can definitely supply them even if we don't hit our goal.
The lower end of the perks will get you a public thank you and higher perks will get you added to the film credits and IMDB.
The Impact
We'd love to be able to finance our films entirely on our own, but we also want to make the best film we can and we can't do that without help from you. We know we can make a film you can be proud of being a part of.
We've got a history of delivering successful short films and making sure perks are supplied. Our previous films are available on our YouTube channel and looking on iMDB you can see that everyone got their promised credit on Lost and Found.
Risks & Challenges
Films are a tricky thing to make, lots can go wrong. During the filming of Lost and Found we had a covid break-out which lost us a member of cast, cinematographer, sound recordist and a day of filming. We still pressed on and managed to create a film we could be proud of.
We believe that we can successfully get past any obstacle to make the best film possible.
Other Ways You Can Help
We understand if you can't contribute money, spreading the word is also incredibly useful to us - and watching the film when it's released of course.
