The Story Continues in FALLEN #2
FALLEN #2 is a 22 page, full colour second issue of an ongoing series printed on standard American sized comic format on high quality paper. Fallen will blend the genres of mystery, thriller and fantasy by creating a thrilling mythological detective story. The story takes place in the vibrant, synth-pop filled era of the 1980's in the loud, crowded streets of New York City.

Where we left with FALLEN #1, the Godfather himself Zeus was murdered right in front of his ward Casper Clay. The criminal world of deities was sent reeling at the news of an immortal god being taken out. While the Greek family is scrambling to react, Casper's life is sent spiraling as he is expelled from his previous life and exiled from the world he once served...

Who Will Like FALLEN?
Obviously fans of the first book will really enjoy this one but if you're just getting on board now and you like any of these things, you're going to love FALLEN;
80's Pop Culture - FALLEN is inspired by and infused with a lot of the 80's classics from music, movies and style.
Mythology - Doesn't matter if you're a fan of Greek, Norse or any other mythology, FALLEN is going to touch on it all.
Crime Thriller - If you're intrigued by stories of crime, murder and mystery. It's like a mash up of John Wick, Constantine and Clash of the Titans.
FALLEN is inspired by neo-noire stories like Blade Runner, Blade Runner 2049 and fantasy stories like Fables and The Wolf Among Us.

Creative Team:
The team has stayed the same with the three of us still passionately working on the series;
Matt: Creator and Writer of FALLEN. Matt has been working on the concept for the story for over 2 years. It was originally developed for a comic format and then considered making it a novel. As Matt continued writing, the imagery that he wanted to convey would only be given justice in the colourful pages of a comic.

Risks and challenges
This is my second crowdfunding campaign after my first one is successful. The risks are relatively low for this one. I learned quite a bit from the last one and plan on applying my experience to streamline the process and speed up production. The script is 100% complete and the artwork is 25% complete. One of the issues I had with the last campaign was the printing service I used had a hard time getting the shipments through customs in a timely manner and added some huge delays to the project. The new service I switched to, and will be using on this one is extremely fast and will cut down the wait time for books by months.
