Beloveds....

My name is Natalie Roy and I am the writer of "Far From The Tree", a short film inspired by my own beautiful mama and our journey together, navigating the bliss and complications of relationship and family ties.

The incredibly talented, vivacious Margaret Reed will play the role of mother.  I feel so blessed.

Our funding goal is $7000, this will go into covering our entire production costs.  This includes director, actors, lighting and sound, editing, marketing, etc...

I cannot tell you how much any contribution means to this production and how entirely grateful I am for your help in bringing this very personal story to the screen. 

I believe our most beautiful art lives in us through our own lives, and this story was integral to my own journey as an actor and a daughter.  It is a pleasure to share and create it, and my deep honor to have you share this with me.
