Synopsis
Fenn chronicles a decade-long hunt for a 2 million dollar treasure chest hidden in the Rocky Mountains by ex US Air Force art dealer Forrest Fenn. This film takes you on a journey through the Rocky Mountains, uncovering the conspiracies about the hunt, exploring the beauty and power of nature, and bringing together a variety of perspectives to tell one of the most unique and inspiring stories of our generation.
Why This Story?
We feel that this story is one of the most inspiring and fascinating tales of our generation. It’s rare that we are able to publicly follow a modern day treasure hunt. We feel that more people should know about this real-life adventure and we're dedicated to making that happen.

What We Need & What You Get
Our budget for the Fenn is $7,000. Costs will cover: transportation to four locations in four different states, lodging, filming permits, gear, music fees, props, catering, insurance, and the Indiegogo fee. We're creating this film on an incredibly tight schedule, and because of this we will be paying out of pocket for these expenses to the best of our ability (which is tight, we're broke college students). While we are trying to do this in the most cost-effective way possible, we still need your help to cover all of our expenses.

The Impact
We hope that Fenn will inspire people to seek out adventure in their own lives. This film aims to both educate people on this decade long hunt and motivate people to pursue whatever opportunities may be present in their own lives. We want people to leave our film feeling adventurous and excited about life.
Risks & Challenges
We understand that as students, there are a lot of challenges that could be present. We are creating this movie as part of UCSB's GreenScreen environmental filmmaking program, which means we have access to excellent advisors and mentors who have been involved in the production of these films for years. They have been amazing in helping us foresee and solve challenges, and with their help we are sure that we can handle any challenge thrown at us.
