My name is Dominick Evans. I am an aspiring filmmaker and Motion Pictures Production major at Wright State University. I started Forbidden Fate as a class project, but it turned into so much more. I was at a very low place when we were developing the concept for the film. I poured all my pain, my heart, and soul into the script, the filming, and the development of this project. It turned out beautiful. 

I could not ask for a better cast. Luke Wortley, Vinicius Vargas, Jay Taylor, Carly Risenhoover and Stacey Niederstadt gave amazing performances that helped to make this an exceptional film. Now, I want to show the world how beautiful this film is, but I need your help to make that dream a reality!

Forbidden Fate tells the story of a man who has denied his true feelings and true self due to societal pressure. Phillip is dating Caroline, but behind her back he is having an affair with a man named Steven. When someone he knows discovers the truth, Phillip's whole world is turned upside down. Sinking to the lowest depths a man can sink, Phillip must deal with the reprecussions of his actions both in his personal life and within a society that says who he truly is, is wrong.

The film was shot on 16mm Tri-X film on an Arriflex, B&W camera. It is a silent film, but needs no words to express its message. We are raising money to digitize the film, for editing and for the development of our score.
