Short Summary
Welcome to phase 2 of the campaign for Freeborn the movie. YES, it's a werewolf film. NO, it's not a furry film. NO, it's not a horror blood and guts film. and NO its not twilight. It's a unique take on werewolves, with classic twists that was brought about by thousands of werewolf fans all over the world. Helping us craft a script and story with characters and werewolves that YOU wanted to see.
What We Need & What You Get
The total budget for this film is 1.5M WHOAH.. yes, thats a LOT of money. BUT, the way we see it. Hollywood is changing, and we're not in hollywood. And for any given film in a theater that can drum up 25-50Million in its opening weekend.. then surely we can get the 1.5M to get this sucker made. Were renegades, we're mavericks, and we are here to get this job done.
What do you get?
YOu get freeborn 'stuff', you get your name in lights, (the light of your monitor). You get props from the film, and you get posters. We're keeping the perk amounds low this time, we're going to try to spread this to as many folks as possible, and really get the small amounts in, to help make larger amounts, there's still so much to do. In phase 2, we will need.
Makeup supplies, alginates, stones, resins, and other various effects items, as well as testing dollars for finally doing what everyone's been asking for. To make a werewolf that everyone can see. Our 'official' version. Also
We're doing some casting, and also some other visual effects test. Software, storage space, and camera rentals, and equipment is expensive. We have a lot already, but we need more. We're doing this in a way that hollywood would sneer at. But we're just that passionate about making this happen. We're wearing tons of hats. And NOW we have our visual effects supervisor Ryan Baxter on board. Also Emerick Jade has come on into a producers role as well as playing the famed "Tasha". We're going 'around' hollywood on this one. We're going to prove that the audience can make the difference in getting movies made. And there's a lot of overspending in hollywood.
The Impact
We want to make a film that for a 1.5Million dolla buget will look like a 50Million dollar budget. It's a tall task, but after Red Victoria, and other projects along the way we're ready for it. The fans are ready for it. YOU'RE ready for it! I'm ready for it. WOW am I ready for it. We've got calendars being made to help bring in bucks, we've got lots of ways to bring this in. The good folks at Indiegogo have been nice enough to give us the opportunity for this. And we're about to turn that six thousand dollars from last time into at least 56,000.
