Why is FRETX delivery time the one displayed on the perks ?
We are in the middle of the manufacturing process and we have to wait until the campaign is over for Indiegogo to release the money. After that we estimate that somewhere between December and May, we will start the shippings, given the fact that some components, like LEDs take at least 10 weeks from the order. We can ensure you that we are working as fast as we can, so that we can deliver to you as soon as possible.
Why are the offers called ‘Perks’, what am I paying for?
Indiegogo is a crowdfunding platform. People who contribute are called Backers and each one of them gets something in exchange for their contribution. The so called “perks”, are what you can get in exchange for the amount of your contribution. In the description below the price, you will find what you are paying for.
So, am I giving my money away and not getting anything in exchange?
No, you are not. In fact, you are getting yourself a FRETX if you get any of the perks that includes a FRETX in its description. For example, for 49 USD + shipping costs you’ll get a FRETX with the special 45% discount regarding the retail price. However, only the first 1000 buyers who claim this perk will be able to benefit from this incredible opportunity. We call this backers the “early birds”. For 10 USD you’ll get a song sung by the FRETX team for you or for a friend of yours. For 99 USD + shipping costs, you’ll get 2 FRETX, one for you and one for whomever you want. Nevertheless, read the instructions below each offer carefully before contributing. To know more about the perks, please contact us bysending us an email.
How do I choose a left handed FRETX?
FRETX’s design is universal, which means it’s designed for both, right and left handed players. Is inside the app where you will be able to choose the most suitable content for left handed guitarists.
What are the possible payment methods?
Payment is possible by credit card, and we have recently enabled payment by PayPal.
If the campaign lasts until December, can I buy it later?
Yes, the campaign lasts until December. However, we can’t guarantee FRETX will still be available after that date.
I just backed up choosing the $99+shipping Perk—ROCK With your FRIEND! Can I get a model 1 (electric & acoustic) and a model 2 (classical)?
By the end of the campaign, we will contact you and will ask you for all the details regarding which FRETX you’d like to receive.
I have two guitars, electric and acoustic, is it easy to add/remove the FRETX from one guitar to the other?
FRETX can be installed on different guitars as many times as you please. However, if you are sure you will use FRETX in more than one guitar, we’d advise you to get 2, one for each guitar instead, to keep the adhesive from wearing out.
If I were to buy two FRETX, could I use them at same time? What happens if I want to switch guitars?
You will find an interruptor on your FRETX that you can switch on and off. By doing so, it will connect or disconnect the device from the mobile app. Switch off one of the devices, and turn on the one on the guitar you’d like to play with next.
Does FRETX’s orders carry an import charge?
Import charges are not being taken into consideration by us. Each backer deals individually because it varies a lot, from country to country. Please, have a look at your country’s policy.
