Short Summary
Black comedy horror zombie film GYM OF THE DEAD.
Based on a concept by Peter Hopkins it will be a blend of all that we love from the 1980's with the added bite of zombies!
Synopsis:
Welcome to Bodacious Bodies, the place to be in the 1980's for those who want all eyes on them.
Bulging muscles, tight bodies and so much neon it could blind a blind man.
Come in, get fit quick or hit the bricks.
When toxic waste that is being transported to a secure location finds its way into the private water supply of the local gym it will only be a matter of time before those inside become more than they ever dreamed of being.
Only a handful of the non-infected stand against the zombie horde in what will be a test of strength, teamwork and downright brutalness in this zombie black comedy horror.
What We Need & What You Get
We have set the goal at £10,000 which will cover the pre-production costs of the film. This includes the cost of any equipment, props. make-up/effects, catering, travel costs for crew, places to stay etc.
In the hopes of reaching our goal we are offering unique perks from as little as £5 for a social media shoutout, all the way up to £3,000 which will mean you will get everything on every perk level.
If we don't reach our goal we will strive to make the best film possible on the funds that you the backers have provided.
The shoot will take between 1- 2 weeks, days / nights with a proposed shoot date to be announced.
Risks & Challenges
With Covid-19 very much still around production will abide by Covid-19 restrictions and all precautions will be taken throughout production.
