Here is some background of how far this project has come.
In 2012, after a series of serendipitous circumstances, I felt led by the divine to do this project.
In June 2013 I completed the short film originally entitled Surviving Death. Which was actually my thesis film as I graduated from film school. It won a few awards in film festivals and has over 25k views on Youtube as well as
I had filmed enough footage to make this project a feature film, but after careful consideration, I decided to make it a TV series. The reasoning behind this is that each story is so rich complementing and contrasting with the others, that there is enough footage to make an entire season of a TV show.
About Film-Com
In June 2014, my dear friend Laura Perez-Martinez and I traveled to Film-Com in Nashville Tennesee to try to present our project to television producers, which is what this fundraising campaign was originally for. We were successful in raising the funds to fly there and pay for most of our expenses. God bless anyone who helped us. ![]()
We presented for a group of producers and Discovery Network asked us to submit our project to their producers portal.
After 7 months of deliberation, Discovery Network ultimately passed on our project.
