Hi my name is Kestel.
My career up until about a year ago was based in live television broadcast and in that industry I developed some amazing skills and learned so much.
From starting as a camera operator and progressing very quickly to live broadcast director and vision mixer, I decided it was time to use my skills for myself and in that moment, Still-Live Media was born.
Still-Live Media is an aerial filming and photography business using the latest in drone technology to get stunning aerial footage for numerous industries.
As a company we have become aware of a huge demand for aerial thermal imaging and are seeking contributions to help us purchase equipment and equip ourselves with the necessary qualifications to perform thermal imaging.
So "that's great, what does it have to do with me?" you may say?
Well, this campaign to raise funds to expand our business, is not only because we want to grow but more because I have a 20 month old daughter who was born with a rare brain disorder called ACC (Agenesis of the Corpus Collosum) and the costs to help her develope are starting to mount, putting massive pressure on me as a father to provide.
Kiara is everything to me and I need to do everything in my power to make sure she is given every chance to succeed.
With your help and selfless contributions, you would be making the world of difference to a little girl who never asked to be different and instead of raising an amount as a one off, it will enable me to create a stronger business, more opportunity, greater market reach and of course more cash flow which in turn will allow me to make sure I can provide all that Kiara needs.

Should we exceed our target, we will use the excess to upgrade and pay off existing equipment and invest in developmental products for Kiara.
Should we fail to reach our target, the funds will be put aside until such time as we can raise the remaining capital to purchase the thermal camera.
The Impact
Still-Live Media is not just a drone company, we are so much more!
As well as aerial footage, we cover ground footage, photography, 360 degree property showcasing, in house editing, original music and backing track production and we are now even moving into graphic design, logo design and 3D animation so your contributions could buy you any of these services at a discounted rate over and above the listed perks.
As our focus for the time being is on thermal imaging, it is useful to note the impact we can have on helping save lives!
We intend to team up with local emergency services to help fire fighters accurately locate the source of a fire, allowing them to navigate the safest point of entry keeping them safer than ever before.
We also hope to assist where we can in search and rescue operations as thermal imaging can pin point a persons location and allow medical/rescue services to deliver necessary care quicker.
There is also room for the use of our cameras to assist police in the apprehension of suspects who have done a runner and may be hiding out of normal sight but NOT out of sight of a thermal imaging camera.
The uses expand far and wide including helping YOU save on your energy bills by indicating potential heat escaping from your property or business and in the same way helping councils maintain council homes saving money for those that need it most!
We will face a few challenges in opening up a new sector of our business.
One of the major obstacles will be getting our name out there as a new provider of aerial thermal imaging but we are confident we can overcome this hurdle as thermal imaging can and will be implemented in many of the areas that we already service and will be somewhat of an add on to offer to our ever expanding client base.
