My name is Ruxandra Munteanu Mateescu and on April 1st I turned 25. I am a courageous girl and I am very passionate about skiing, snowboarding and motorcycling. Ambitious, determined to build my career, I have worked since I was in college of law at a law firm. Now, unfortunately, I can not talk about me anymore and my dream of becoming a successful lawyer it's over. The only dream I have now... is to live.

       These lines are written by someone else... because I'm in a coma . From March 15 , after a motorcycle accident I am admitted to the intensive care unit of the Floreasca hospital, in Bucharest. To help healing, the doctors have maintained me for a period of time in a medically induced coma, after lowering my body temperature. This drug-induced  coma overlapped the coma I entered after the accident. Just got out of the medically induced coma, but my condition is still unconscious. For my recovery to be possible, I should be moved as soon as possible to a specialized hospital abroad. Unfortunately, Floreasca hospital treatment for neurological recovery is insufficient and as time passes I risk losing my reflexes and mobility or even worse.

       Parents and friends are making huge financial efforts to support my healing but one day of hospitalization abroad is on average 700-800 euro / day. We need your help because unfortunately my life depends on money! Please understand that for any kind of help you will receive my gratitude and my best thoughts .
