Hi,

I"m Ma'moon and I am a Lebanese interdisciplinary Artist, living in NYC.

My Artistic path started when I decided to merge my architectural career with my passion for acting. I started Designing for stage and film. Theater taught me how to look inside, to take a step back and witness myself. Played a major role in introducing me to the conversation between my body, mind and introduced the spirit.

You’re probably wondering how is theater related to this project.

I wrote and directed HUWA with the help of amazing artists (see credits below). Without their dedication and commitment this couldn't have happened. This work's main intention is to introduce a theatrical expression that is the outcome of intensive studies and research during my last 4 years. 

HUWA is the synthesis of many disciplines such as psychoanalysis, performing arts, sound, movement and poetry. I took myself as the subject of study and I created a poetic act to help me heal from internal blockages, fears and trauma.

This Project is the materialization of theoretical work and your donation will help me  in introducing the process to you.  

Introducing theater as a healing tool for our collective systematic programming, generational traumas, fears and insecurities.
